As the Founder and Director of the Parashurama Vallabhatta Kalari Academy, Krishna Prathap has made significant strides in promoting and advancing this ancient Indian martial tradition. With over four decades of experience, Krishna Prathap stands as a distinguished teacher, practitioner, and performer. His journey began at the tender age of six under the guidance of his father, Sri Karthikeyan Gurukkal. This early training was further enriched through mentorship under the esteemed Shankara Narayana Menon Gurukkal, widely known as Unni Gurukkal. These formative years laid a strong foundation, enabling him to develop a profound understanding of both the techniques and philosophies that define the art.
