Holding a Ph.D. in Physiotherapy, along with Master (MPT) and Bachelor (BPT) degrees in the same field, Dr. Sharma is widely respected for his scholarly and clinical expertise. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at SMIH and SGRR University in Patel Nagar, Dehradun, where he plays a dual role as a mentor and a practicing clinician.
With over 17 years of experience, Dr. Sharma has seamlessly blended academic instruction with hands-on clinical practice, ensuring that his students receive a holistic and practical education. His career began at Swami Rama Himalayan University and Himalayan Hospital, where he completed his postgraduate studies and developed a strong foundation in patient care and rehabilitative therapies. Since then, he has consistently promoted the role of physiotherapy as an essential component of rehabilitation and preventive healthcare.
